[Justine laughs softly, placing another quick innocent kiss to his lips.]
Yes. We do. After everything is done. We can keep going. I don't need to eat right now. [Food is not at the forefront of Justine's thoughts.] I'd much rather be doing this.
[Justine gently bites her lower lip but she's weak against his pleads. He's too well meaning and too sweet for her to argue about something so inane.]
Okay. I'll eat but then I want to show you the deck and we can keep kissing there.
[She presses a light kiss to his lips just as the timer goes off. A low moan rumbles through her throat as she gently dislodges herself from him and turns towards the oven. Justine quickly pulls out the sheet with fish and veggies on it, everything cooked perfectly through. She divides it into two portions, leaving some for her roommate.]
[He turns to awkwardly stand with his back to her. If it was Hank he'd absolutely stare him down while eating, but with Justine it seems like it would be more awkward.]
[Connor sits, trying to think of something to tell her.]
Well... on the day I was activated, I saved a little girl from a hostage situation. An android had gotten upset because he was going to be replaced, and he shot her father before taking the little girl to the roof. He was going to jump off with her, but I managed to talk him down. It was the first case of deviancy in an android- that is, an android gaining emotions.
[Because this is what people apparently talk about over dinner. To be fair, he's only ever had dinner with Hank, and that entailed talking about cases.]
[Justine eats and listens. She doesn't mind the topic since it tells her more about Connor than the simple statements might suggest.]
Sounds like a hard job. Does it worry you?
[She takes another small bite and then elaborates.]
I mean, he's another android. Isn't it alright that he feels? Even if it isn't alright that he hurt people. You feel, don't you? [Though that might be different. Justine isn't sure.]
I was still influenced by my programming. Becoming a deviant means breaking free of that, and I hadn't done that yet. I was created to hunt deviants. To bring them back to CyberLife so that they could be dismantled and investigated for faults. I was under the impression that their emotions were simply errors in their software. I didn't... know.
[It's obvious he has regrets now, but at the time he'd been nothing more than machine, performing a task.]
[Justine abandons the small scraps of food remaining on her plate and reaches out towards Connor.] I'm sorry. [Her fingers slide through his and she gently squeezes to offer some small measure of comfort.]
I hadn't meant to make you sad.
[She raises to her feet and places her plate behind her to address later.]
[He often feels guilty about the androids in his path who were killed. Justine didn't bring it up, he did. He lets Justine lead him wherever she's going, hand in hers.]
[Her fingers interlace with his as she leads him towards the backyard. It's a small but lovely backyard with a carefully cultivated lawn. There is an herb garden to their left and a bench covered with pillows and surrounded by roses in the far left corner of the lawn.
Justine leads him to the spiral stair case that magically leads up towards the sky. The deck is high and not too big to be daunting. From here they can see Connor's house as well as the larger houses of Haven. She lightly presses two fingers against the wood and the sheer looking spell around them darkens and the wind ebbs to a gentle breeze. There are several long lounge chairs, push pillows and a thick blanket that Justine had laid upon the ground.
She sometimes comes up here to read and a few of her books are scattered around the area.]
[Justine gently pulls Connor onto one of the lounge chairs, positioning them so that she's able to rest her head on his shoulder and curl against his side.]
This is why I brought you up here. We can kiss more or just enjoy... being close.
[Justine decides that she wants to do both. Her slender frame presses against his side, her legs intertwining with his, while she begins to trail light affectionate kisses down the smooth curve of his neck.
It's odd that he doesn't have stumble but she supposes that it makes sense. What would an android do with stumble?]
How does this feel?
[She gently nips at his neck, dragging along his skin with her teeth.]
[Some androids do have stubble, but not Connor. It's nice not having to shave, at least. He tilts his head as Justine nibbles at his neck, closing his eyes.]
[Justine smiles against his skin as she continues to trail kisses and playful bites over his shoulder. She doesn't stop there. Instead her fingers tease at the buttons of his shirt, allowing her to continue her path along his clavicle and down his chest.]
You can kiss my chest too if you want.
[She couldn't help herself and the comment is out before she can stop it.]
[Connor's eyes widen at that comment, snapping open from where he'd been contentedly letting Justine bite at his skin. He flushes a light blue, glancing down at her. Specifically, her chest.]
I... do you want me to?
[He'll do it, there is absolutely nothing stopping him. The comment just came as a surprise.]
[She looks up at him, watching in delight as his face flushes a cool pleasant blue.]
Yes. I think I would.
[It surprises her a little bit but she wants to know what it's like. Even if the motions are exploratory, awkward or uncertain. She wants to experience more of Connor. Even in baby steps.]
[He shifts to settle his weight over her, and leans in to start kissing at her neck first.]
I do.
[He's curious about Justine's body, that much he can't deny. He's gentle with his kisses, but he's learned from Justine and leaves little nips as he trails over to her shoulder. He kisses as far down as the fabric of her shirt will allow, hand resting on her waist.]
[Justine moves so that her back is pressing firmly against the inclined chair, leaning her head to the side so that Connor can easily access her throat, neck and chest. His mouth is soft against his skin, trailing a path of fire as his head dipped towards her clavicle.]
Yes. More than okay.
[She smiles.]
You're a quick learner.
[Her shirt is the same simple white fabric that he'd purchased for her after her clothes had soaked through. There isn't very much to it and the fabric is easily tugged a few inches down before it catches on the straps at her shoulders.]
[He gets bold with his hand, sneaking his fingers a few inches up her stomach and under the fabric of her shirt before stopping. His lips remain on her skin though, dragging them along her collarbone and huffing a soft breath there.]
You would tell me if I overstepped any boundaries, wouldn't you?
no subject
[He could do this for a long while, just being close to her. He's enjoying the kissing and the way her breath stutters whenever she pulls away.]
But we have as long as we like as long as we're in this place, right?
no subject
Yes. We do. After everything is done. We can keep going. I don't need to eat right now. [Food is not at the forefront of Justine's thoughts.] I'd much rather be doing this.
no subject
[He rubs his hand up and down her back, his tone gentle but concerned. Humans need to eat, even if he doesn't.]
I'll stay if you want me to, but I'd like you to have dinner.
no subject
[Justine isn't all that great at taking care of herself. She has a tendency to get swept up in each moment and letting it consume her concentration.]
And I'd like you to stay.
no subject
[He kisses her forehead.]
I'll still be here, I promise. Please?
[He's going to employ the puppy eyes if you don't, Justine.]
no subject
So. Are you going to watch me eat?
no subject
[He turns to awkwardly stand with his back to her. If it was Hank he'd absolutely stare him down while eating, but with Justine it seems like it would be more awkward.]
Is this better?
no subject
It's fine if you watch. Please, sit with me. Maybe you can tell me a little more about you while I eat?
[Justine takes small cute bites but she eats at a reasonable pace so that it doesn't take too much time.]
no subject

[He looks down, frowning.]

Come with me. I'd like to show you something.

What do you think?
no subject
It looks very comfortable. It must be nice to read here.
[Not that he knows if reading is nice or not, but it must be if so many people do it.]
no subject

Of course. I'd like that.
