[Paris nods, holding out his hand for the feed. He sprinkles the feed over the top of the bowl, and he smiles a little as he watches the fish dart up, snatching at the food. ...It does make him feel a bit better.
He looks around the room again, trying to think of... well, anything to distract himself.] I like your room. [It might not be very personalized, but... right now Paris's is just overly gaudy and it makes him uncomfortable.]
...Maybe I could paint the walls blue. And I'd like to add photos of people I like.
[Which seems like an odd thing to want, but Connor wants the reminders that he has friends now. He glances at the jewellery box at the side of his bed, which is full of pretty rings and the pebble he found on the ocean floor with Paris.]
I'd like to buy more jewellery, too.
[He doesn't wear most of it, he just likes to admire it.]
Mm. They might. I'm sure you could find something...
[Paris moves to sit on the bed; it's comfortable, but since Connor doesn't need to sleep it probably doesn't matter. He will gently pat the pillow though, smiling.] These are all so soft here...
[He wouldn't know, he's too tall for the bed. He tried laying on it once but not only did he not fit, he got bored. It's not like he was going to sleep, after all. He sits beside Paris though, since there's enough room for that. He idly stacks two of the pillows on top of each other.]
I need a bigger bed, but I'm not in a hurry to get one.
[Connor hums to himself, before getting on his knees on the floor and dragging the pillows down with him. Even after they're all on the floor, he still wouldn't fit on them.]
[He leaves for a moment to go to Hank's room, pulling the pillows off the bed there. He can always return them. Then he comes back and spreads them out on the floor, where they finally cover enough surface for him to be able to lay on them.]
I don't think Hank would like me using his pillows, but this would work, I guess.
[He lays on the pillows, but they separate under his weight and he ends up with his shoulders and hips on the floor and the rest of him on pillows, which would be very uncomfortable if he were human.]
[He gets an idea then, and starts to pick up the pillows.]
Here, follow me.
[He dumps them all in the living room, pulls the big cushions off the couch, and uses them to make the "base" for his bed. Then he puts some of the pillows on them, and with the spare ones, well... he just sort of stacks them by where his head will go.]
[Paris picks up any that Connor couldn't get and follows him into the room, smiling when he sees what the android is doing.]
Oh! [He laughs a little, plopping down on the floor and trying to arrange the pillows more neatly.] These ones are very sturdy... I think if you had enough you could build a house from them. [The softest house ever.]
[He starts to arrange them so that they're standing up on their sides, holding his hands over them to keep them where they are before using more pillows to support them.]
I have an idea.
[He goes back into his bedroom, grabs some blankets, and starts to drape the blankets over the pillows to make a little fort they can sit in.]
[Paris is very confused initially, watching Connor with some puzzlement as he starts to lay blankets over everything. It's only when he steps back that Paris gets it.]
...Will it stay up if you sit in it? I-I guess even if it falls it would be ok... [Because it's so soft.]
Hm... maybe that side table, over there? To use as a wall?
[Paris goes to collect the little table, setting it next to their structure and arranging it so the pillows lean against it, making it a bit less likely that that would topple over on them.]
[He moves the blanket so it's covering the table too, hiding it from view.]
We could make it more comfortable.
[He arranges the pillows so that they'd be better to lay on, and takes a small lamp from a table and sets it to dim, so that it lights up the fort nicely.]
[Paris beams, rearranging a few more things to make it nicely stable and pulling in a few more stray pillows to make it extra plush. Soon enough it's a very stable little fort and they can admire their handiwork.]

[He's going to apologize anyway. He's pretty sure he's just wasting Connor's time. But also.... a break sounds good.]

[He gestures to the betta fish.]
Here, I find watching Sparky is very relaxing. Do you want to feed him?
[He gets the fish flakes, takes out a tiny pinch, and gestures for Paris to hold out his hand.]
Sprinkle these in there. He'll enjoy it.

[Blue is a good color. Paris looks over at the little box, smiling.]
...If you don't want to wear them... you could find something nice to show them off in, maybe?
no subject
[He looks thoughtful.]
Maybe there's something at a stall. They usually have the jewellery presented nicely.

....Maybe you could just make a pile of pillows on the floor, or something. [Then he could make it however big he needed to.]

no subject
Hmm. I don't think this is very comfortable.

[Paris rearranges the pillows to try and get them to stay, at least until Connor's head and shoulders.] L-like this?

[He shifts though, then sits up.]
There has to be a better way...
[He gets an idea then, and starts to pick up the pillows.]

There.
[This is a lot of pillows.]
